House Cleaning In Your Hands

Your maid service comes in and makes your home look absolutely wonderful. It’s clean, healthy, and you definitely want to keep it that way. Of course, anything that helps you maintain that clean easily and quickly is a must-have, and a cleaning kit is exactly that.

Imagine a small collection of house cleaning items suitable for almost every surface in your house that you can carry in one hand. Talk about making things easier! No more hunting for cleaners, no more spray-bottle-for-every-room—just one convenient container. Read on to see what to put in your cleaning kit.

How to Make a Cleaning Kit

  • Mop bucket or basket. If you often use a bucket filled with water or plan on cleaning the floors, go with the bucket. Otherwise, a basket is fine for holding a small cluster of cleaning supplies. Just make sure it’s light and easy enough for you to carry around.
  • Your favorite 3 cleaners or the ultimate all-purpose cleaner: vinegar and water. Vinegar and water mixed together in a spray bottle is going to be able to handle almost any surface in your house (avoid marble!), including carpet and hardwood. The vinegar smell evaporates after only a little while, as well.
  • Rags, sponges, or microfiber cloths. Whatever you prefer is fine, just make sure you remember to replace used ones with clean ones when you put your cleaning kit away so it will be ready the next time.
  • Room. As you go through your house cleaning, you’re going to find small items that don’t belong where you find them. Having a little extra room to carry these things out will be helpful

Keep your kit in a familiar place and pull it out whenever you’re feeling the need to maintain the cleanliness and health of your home.
